The serial number database didn't come around until the late 1980s after Ernie Ball took over the company so we don't have the production records for the pre and early Ernie Ball instruments unfortuantely. There may be a date in the neck pocket or neck heel that could give you an idea of the production time. We don't offer appraisals on used instruments through the factory since we don't have experience dealing in the used market. It be worth checking Ebay & Reverb to see if any others are selling to compare.

This SUB 2EQ was completed on December 8th, 2003. The color is Textured Black with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Music Ways. The StingRays feature a different preamp with more headroom on the tone controls.
