I'm wondering about the old Axis Sport models. I'm on the lookout for one and I have a few questions.

1) Can anyone tell me if the SSS models are routed for a bridge humbucker or if it's just the HSS models?

2)If I wanted to change the pickups, does anyone know if single coils have to be wired to a specific spec for the silent circuit to work? If so, what spec?

3) Is the bridge humbucker on the HSS models the same as the regular axis?

4) Same neck as axis?

Thanks!

As to your questions:

1) This I cannot answer.

2) As far as I know, the Silent Circuit has a small pot, which is factory preset for least hum/noise. So you will be able to match the functioning of the S.C. to the pickups. So I think, that it does not depend on the spec of the pickups, but maybe the pot does not have enough tuning margin for each and every pickup out there.

3) Yes

4) Yes
