Hi, I bought majesty and it's really wonderful instruments.

however, it has bridge rattling.

At first I thought it was a saddle problem, but the saddle is just the right height and is firmly anchored to the bridge.

So it's not saddle problem.

I checked trem spring, the screws of majesty's bridge plate, but there doesn't seem to be any problem....They all appear to be firmly anchored.

And the notes causing the problem are the 11th and 12th frets (F# G) of the 3rd string and the 10th frets (G) of the 5th string, and a dead spot occurs.

It seems to me that dead spot and bridge rattling are related.

I took a video to show. It's the sound from the bridge, not the fret buzz.

I've owned several expensive guitars, including the Tom Anderson and PRS, but none of them have had dead spots or bridge rattling problems.

The only two guitars I have had bridge rattling and dead spots are Ibanez j.custom and Musicman Majesty.

In these two guitars, bridge rattling and dead spot occurred at the same time.

Based on this, I think 'thin neck' might have something to do with this issue, what do you guys think?

also, Is there any other way I can solve this problem? If the dead spot is causing bridge rattling, there seems to be no solution.

But conversely, can bridge rattling cause dead spots? So, is there a way to solve the dead spot?

In my opinion, the problem of dead spot is that phase cancellation occurs when the vibration of the string and the vibration of the neck are subtly mismatched..

The string I use is Ernieball Regular Slinky (10-46) and everything is factory setting.

can someone help me??

This is pretty hard to diagnose remotely. Where I've had issues like that (on my older Steve Morse), it was the strings behind the bridge causing issues- easily fixed by putting something in contact with the excess string.

I'd encourage you to contact the MM Customer Service team and get their advice. The link is in my signature.

I had the rattling issue on my 2019 Majesty 7 - turned out to rattling from the batteries! I don't hear it when plugged in, so it doesn't bug me, but I guess I would put a small microfiber cloth in the cavity if it did.

Can you tell me more? Where in the battery cavity did it vibrate? The screws on my Majesty's battery plate are tight. Did you do something on the side where you put the battery in? Oh, and I also don't get rattling when I'm using the amp. Can you show me some pictures?

I Solved this problem!!!!!!!!! The reason was that the PCB board vibrated. How could they make a mistake on such an expensive guitar?! I cut the microfiber cloth and put it here and there to fix it, and the problem went away.

......but The piezo doesn't work because something went wrong while I touching the battery plate. huh............................

I'd get on with Support about that. it sounds like you might have shorted the board or loosened the battery connection. You couldn't secure it down with the screws? Either way it's a QC issue for sure. My Majesty 7 has a QC issue too, but I don't want to send it in with the turnaround time...

I took the majesty to the repair shop and found out that it was a problem with the PCB responsible for the output of the piezo pickup. I didn't even touch the pcb because I was afraid, so it makes me crazy!!!!!! Fortunately, it was still under warranty, so I decided to get the pcb replaced for free, but it's very annoying!!! Musicman must do the QC of their instruments properly!!!!
