I looked at about 40 to 50 SR4 serials from 1994 and the 3EQs outnumbered the 2EQs by about three to one.

They’re rarer than the three bands there’s still a lot of them! And with the classic you have a situation where they’re so close to the classic that they are less rare. There’s also not much of a meaningful difference between a 94 and say a 93 92 91 etc. classic has string through and a 7.25 radius!
