A few weeks ago I picked up an HSS luke 3 on a whim after trying it out at a shop. I've absolutely fallen in love with it and decided it needed a few friends to go along with it. This morning I got a luke 4 SSS in the mail and this afternoon I drove over to a shop that had an HH luke 3 i'd been looking at for a reasonable price and picked it up. So anyways, here's my family of luke guitars!
Absolutely loving them so far, though I did have to do some work on the HH out of the box. Apparently an employee had taken it home to try out and decked the bridge and added an extra spring. Also the strings were completely worn out. A set of fresh strings and some tinkering with the trem claw and it's fantastic.
Been a long day and haven't had much of a chance to compare the 3 back and forth yet, but I imagine after the holidays are over I will be diving in and playing these things non stop in my free time! Anyways, happy to pick up my first ernie ball music man guitars and really loving them so far.
