Looking to see what a Vintage Sunburst Luke looks like. Do not think I have Ever seen one to tell you the truth. Always has been a solid color or a BFR. And at the moment I am Gassing for a real Luke to replace my mock Luke I make from a strat I have.

If I saw that hanging in a guitar store. It wouldn't be there for very long. Beautiful !

Vintage Sunburst is a beautiful color in person! It's very hard to photograph and get a true representation. It usually turns out too red or too yellow, whereas the transition from the black to red to yellow is much smoother in real life. Here are couple of links for a LUKE in VS.

Music Man Ernie Ball Luke , THE TWELFTH FRET

Scroll down the page and there is a LUKE in VS among all the other cool LUKEs :D.

Like Rob said, its very hard to photograph well.

When you have pro lighting, natural lighting or no flash, its gorgeous!

I have recently bought a Luke 2010 Vintage Sunburst. I couldn't resist :)
Does anybody know a source where I can get more info on this guitar?
It will be my first Music Man and also my first guitar with active pickups. I don't have much experience with EMG Pickups except with a Headless Guitar from Steinberger which had some kind of EMG Pickups if I remember well.
The description says only "Luke 2010". So I guess it's the Luke 2 Modell. Is that right?
Thank you very much.

If it's 2010, yes it's a Luke II. It'll be awesome! I still love all the tones Luke got with his EMGs.

Yes, this beauty is from 2010. I just couldn't find any reviews from guitar magazines or YouTube videos with Google.
