Good afternoon,

I'm a very infrequent poster here but a fan nevertheless. I picked up a Steve Morse Dark Lord Y2K today, pictured below. According to the serial number, it was made in 2013.

I have a question: some Dark Lords are designated "Ball Family Reserve", or "BFR", on the 12th fret. This is not. Is there a difference in materials or anything else (other than the 12th fret notation) between this "Dark Lord" and the BRF Dark Lord?

Thanks.

Congrats, but the links don't work.

Always liked the DarkLord considered one many times.

Sometimes with BFR runs they'll tell you the production numbers ... "Limited to just xx units worldwide", etc. But I don't recall that for the Darklord. So it's anyone's guess how many they made.
