Well as the title says, I bought it. I’m gonna refinish the bass b/c I don’t like the finish and I’m not a fan of how the headstock is different than the body. I want to do a paint of paisley finish on this one.

I haven’t received the bass yet but I’ll post pics as I get the work done.

You’re one of the few people that thinks it should be changed. Everyone on talkbass loves it. I may keep it as is if the finish job is good.

If the SO dont like it, but presuming its kept as-is, obviously dont hang it on the wall ... and disinvite her from your gigs.

It’s not staying as is. The finish was trash and I’d be embarrassed to play it in public.
