I have (mildly obsessively and compulsively [but it is not a disorder!]) been keeping an eye on the Ernie Ball Music Man site for signs of new BFR (Ball Family Reserve) guitars, and it appears that the year 2026, now a quarter through, has not seen any BFRs yet.
I am curious as to whether there is a planned release, fully cognisant of the fact that those who know do not say, and those who say do not know.
Is there a general schedule of BFR releases, or is it a matter of whenever the Ball family decides to release something?
I wonder what we can expect in 2026.
Personally, I would like to see an amazing Luke 4 BFR, but on the other hand, I do not want to see a Luke 4 BFR, as depending on what it is, I would want it!
