I've had it since October 05, the day that I SAW El Grupo in NYC ! It is a great record, and Steve's playing is amazing as well as the tone.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Fun band to play with. This is an official "BOOTLEG", very loose and to be honest not one of MY best nights but in the spirit of the requsts I relented and let them put out more. It is still a limited edition and a snapshot of last year.
I used the CAE and the VHT power amps and my trusty LUKE'S.
make sure you are somewhat inebrated whist listening. it takes all the rought edges off. hahahaha

Lucious, was on El Grupo Tour that you used the Don Ramsay's vibrato? What do you think about it? (If you can tell us something about it)

Just got my copy today. Wow. Being a Jaco/Weather Report fan, all I can say about the El Grupo version of Birdland is Wow. Luke, you are AMAZING, and I am proud to have a small part in making guitars for you. Unreal.

One of the coolest things about Lucious hanging around here is that you get the sense that he's just a darn good guy.

A fun night that was. I remember chatting it up with Luke just before showtime at the Potato. He was in a really good mood. (until I went up to him...so BP doesn't have to say this. )
Hey, and another must have live fusion cd is the one JEFF BECK is selling on his current tour, recorded earlier this year, march i think on one (or more) of his 7 tour dates in spring. Led boots is on this too. His slide work is sublime.
Alas, no cuts with killer vocalist beth hart...I can't believe I'm saying that, but 'going down' with her is f'ing amazing.
