Y'know what's tragic about this?

Somebody is going to have to decide to spend a pile of money on this without knowing about the details on the 20th SR5, the 5-string Sterling, the Bongo 6 or the 07 LEs. Not to mention the mysterious BFR.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have started saving, nor am I the only one who cannot justify bidding on this beauty AND going for one of those mysterious future products.

You guys are amazing. BRAVO!

Don't lose sight of what this bass is being auctioned off for in the first place. There's nothing tragic about someone bidding on this bass considering where the money is going.

Don't get me wrong! The tragic part is having to CHOOSE! It is, as the saying goes, a "happy problem." I mean, we've got so MUCH cool stuff available to us.

If I could swing this AND one of the treats yet to come, you can bet your bottom dollar I'd be right there in the bidding war!

Great cause!!! I bid on the last CLB SR and I don't even play Rays anymore. It is a great one off and the money goes to a worth while cause. It is a total win-win, even with all the future instruments coming out (after all, this one will be here FIRST). EBMM, Bravo!!!!!

Wow. As another five player, I think it's safe for me to join that "Good thing it's not a five-string" club.

But still, that is one beautiful bass. There's no denying that.

What a beautiful bass guitar  I honestly believe that there should be more trans colours out there for the Bongo

There probably would be if the Bongo's regular body were ash and not basswood.

I guess they are just going to have to start giving Bongos Flame Maple Tops!!! :D

Of course, they would also have to drop those gawdy hunks of plastic they screw over the top too. Pickguards! Bleh! New order option: Pickguard Delete.
