Finally finished my YouTube video. :)

I finally have the whole song done! I did the best I could with the footage I had. This is also my first serious attempt at video editing so some of it was a learning process, that's for sure!

One thing I noticed was I'm pretty consistant to what I recorded! That's a good thing. Outside of the fact that it was quite a bit faster live than we recorded it, it was fairly easy to chop it up and get it close to the audio. I got it as close as I could!

Anyway, I appreciate any of you guys that check it out. Gimmie some good votes!

Now, even though I'm from NOLA and blacker than the average white guy D ) I am still a white boy playing (for the most part) white boy music.

I enjoy heavier stuff, but try to keep some melody in it and above all, keep it tasteful.

I was honestly surprised how close I was live to the CD. My timing was just about spot on, I just had to slow down the video a bit as we were maybe ~10bpm too fast live.

Oh yeah it's a great sound and sounded so tight = ahhhhh those were the days!

Had a look on your web site too. Noticed you like Black Sabbath - I saw them in about 1971 and I saw Ozzie in St Louis 21 years ago and knew one of the lighting tecks. I still have the acess all areas pass. My memory is cr4p -who would have been his guitarist then ? Mottley Crue supported that night - I remember that much.
I also remember my English accent paid dividends that night

It's amazing how you can hear every note of the chords you're playing, even when highly distorted...

I try to have a clear tone even with gain, lots of clarity. I have a big rack, but I really don't use that much effects really. It's all about moderation!
