Just listening to some Scritti Politti. Did their tunes reach the distant shores of the USA?

Splendid music. I believe a native of the USA called Marcus Miller played on the Provision album. Well worth checking out.

I think there was one song... it sounds familiar. I was a major major MTV-head in the 80's

I've only heard of them because they were mentioned in a Richard Thompson song.(Bone through her Nose).

Oh yeah, I remember that one now. Funkaaaay - "I have a perfect way to make the girls go crazaaay!"

I remember a lone girl in high school who had "Scritti Politti" scribbled on her binder, along with a small sketch. I always wondered what it was about.

I'm a bit of an 80's head.. listen to 80's & new wave stuff all the time on Sirius.
