I have two gear secrets, and Ill go ahead and drop the first.

BP pushed me over the edge, and a couple weekends ago, I went to GC and tried the MarkBass stuff. I was floored by all the Mark amps I tried, and one of their SMALL combos totally knocked me off my feet.

So, I sold the Aguilar AG500 and Friday I called GC and bought a MarkBass Little Mark II. Im excited about it. Should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. Something about 500 watts @ 4 ohms, weighing 6.39 pounds makes me giddy.

Thanks for the heads up BP. You were right about the Mark amps for sure.

I would agree. I sold my Ampeg SVT3Pro and am looking to get a Little Mark II. I'm very excited. The sounds I got out of it using a SR and their 410 cab were great. I'm hoping the sound will be even better through my Aguilar 212.

Really glad you're happy with it Trav :) I want to get something Markbassy in the near future - may be just a Micromark to use around the house as I don't gig - though the idea of a small combo is tempting considering the price of the Micro...

What are you doing as far as cabs go?

Congratulations, Trav!

I figured that at least one part of this was amp-related; now, what's this "redecorating?"

You and BP-always keeping us out of the loop...:p

I gigged my LMII again tonight, combined with the Bongo HS and Accugroove cab it's all I need, hence the selling off of all my other gear..

Azzy, Ive really taken a liking to the Bergantino cabs, and plan on sticking with them. Ive been using Bergantino since March, and really like Jim B's stuff.

So, Im gonna stick with the Berg HT322, and may get a Berg 2x10 or 1x12 for smaller stuff.

I have to confess, I also knew this secret before y'all did, too. It rules being in on Travis' secrets.

Secret #2 will be revealed on Wednesday.

So I share one of your secrets, using Markbass head (TA 503 with 2 tubes preamp) and cabs (Traveler 104). All I need is in those incredible stuff.

I think that Markbass stuff are to bass amps what the Bongo is to basses : top sound, top technology, cool look.
