As a fellow Bongo/piezo fan and one who is curious about how the 5H sounds, I'd be really interested to hear your take on it when you get it vs. your HHp.

If memory serves, we even set our EQs and piezo balance about the same as a general rule (EQ pretty much flat except for a bit of low-mid boost, piezo mixed in about 25%, magnetic pickups centered). So I think I have a good idea of what your existing preferred tone sounds like.

I will give a full report when I have a chance to run it through it's paces. I'll probably record some clips of the same licks with the single H vs. dual HH in mind. I love my HHp Bongo 5 so I'm really looking forward to check out what all the hype is about. :cool:

Congrats Andrew. I REALLY, REALLY miss my single H. I betthe blue bomber is going to kill through that Ashdown/Berg setup.
