"If you'd like we can sell the part to you
directly, however you would need to first send us the "old" neck plate
as a "trade-in". This is our requirement whenever we send out a
proprietary part. "

Did Broken_Wings ever do this? Reading the emails, it seems that maybe he didn't, and it was just all miscommunication and misunderstanding.

Just something I saw.

Did you read the part where they said "nevermind, we've seen the pictures and have the serial number, so you don't have to".

Once again we dont know that we are seeing all of the emails and really need Kevin to give his side of the story. In America you get a chance to defend yourself before found guilty. Kevin may have screwed up....he might not have...the part could be stuck in customs or the dog could have ate it...lets let him tell lhis side and then we willl make a decision regarding the truth but in the mean time I got called a liar which isnt usually a term of endearment or something you call someone who can solve your problem.....

Kev was the first person I spoke to at EBMM. Really helpful chap. I shouldn;t really be chipping in here, but meh.........it's a rainy boring friday evening. I hope this gets resolved soon though.

BTW, 'twas my birthday yesterday. Any spare 20th silo's going and I'll be your dog :D

There does seem to be something missing from the e-mail section. Notice we don't see a follow up e-mail from him to Kevin giving his CC info and such as was requested, so who knows... There's always a different perspective depending on what side of the field you're sitting on.

The dude is definitely pissed, tho...

Well it's been an interesting experience.......

if the wings are broken maybe his neck is fine!

I tried to offer to PM Kevin for the fella but he's very stressed by the whole thing, so I thought you could buy EBMM in france, why go to Japan?

This makes Big Brother seem like a testcard!

Listen I read you r posts you said that it was cheaper in asia....

I never said that... This is why I call you liar...

Please read again my message... Huh...

It could be the first good thing you should do for me "read well my message".

Honestly... Do you thin I have to be a liar and say bull****s to get a back plate?
Are you crazy people??

I write here because I didn't received anything and nothing has been done since 3 months.
And if Kevin didn't received my CC, I will send it again.

I just want this back plate that's all... I don't care about your life or who cares.

I said the job has not been done and it was not respectful for the customer that I am.
I have always been smart with Kevin... But you Mr Sterling... You make me laugh a lot...

As I said I will pay this f*ckin neck plate... Because I just want to never deal with you again. What do you want more???

I will pay and receive this neck plate and never talk to you again. That's the best I can wish...

I'm still stuck on the broken plate. Is it possible that this "fissure" could simply be the plating?

Pal, after this last post you will get a neck plate over my dead body. You are now being sent into purgatory which is a feature for nimrods like you that the forum software has.

enjoy the ride!

All this mess for a back plate...

That's amazing...

A mess initiated by whom?

And I know how difficult it would have been to include the email with your CC number and just x-out that part or delete it. That kind of stuff is very hard to do. Maybe one day when they invent a machine that we can type on and easily edit mistakes........ahhhh, the future..........

Maybe if I start taliking about EVH, someone will close this thread down:D ...

It's getting hard to feel the love right now so I'll just say..

I once had a problem with a G1B$on that had a wonky neck ( a dot neck 335). It turns out that the wood was not kiln dried satisfactorily and needed to be planed and refretted ( a real drag)
The company wanted nothing to do with me....that guitar is gone now..I won't be back.
EBMM dealt with a couple of Axis issues and were VERY civil about the whole thing....... eventually I bought a second one.

Get it?

Now, about EVH........

I have always been smart with Kevin...

In America, the phrase "being smart" or "getting smart" is actually a derrogatory, or negative one. So saying you were being smart with someone actually implies that you are being mean to them. No big deal, just a little difference in literal translations. That's all.

Let's go out drinking!
