Phew - it all got a bit heated today didn't it?

I had reason to contact CS (Beth) just before her sojourn to Sarf America, and she confirmed with me that the best way to resolve my issue was a call to Strings n Things the distributor here in the UK. This was after I had a chat with the shop who sold my beloved guitar here in Cardiff (thanks Simon a gentleman sir. You can't believe the help he gives to young musicians in the area free of charge).
Anyway I spoke to Nick in S & T and he was also a delight to deal with, I'll say that again A DELIGHT TO DEAL WITH!! No worries no issues. We confirmed details via e mail and I sleep easily because of the service I have had from EB.

So thanks EB Customer Services USA and GB.

Chin up guys - now get back to work !!! (Quote from Teutall Senior- American Choppers)

EDIT :please do not respond to this thread quoting specific problems with your guitars - It is not the place to do it.

I've dealt with Mark Harrison at strings & Things a few times over the last few years. He is one very helpful chappie and he gigs MM guitars himself. When my two local music shops couldnt be arsed helping me out with some parts for my SUB and Axis he took care of it all and even posted me the goods before payment cleared.Top fella!

Yay!:D

<hijackon> and I'd also like to say a belated Happy Birthday to puppyonacid, as he mentioned it on the other not very nice thread. I couldn't say it there as I was sitting on my hands, determined not to reply. <hijackoff>

Glad you're back up and about S-at-A Spud. (good cover story while you're actually doing recon work in Toronto)
Thank you Sir!! (CIC ALOC)
- but the 8uggers in work sent me on a 8 hour drive to Sunderland when I got back to work !!

Quite funny driving back though - I was listening to an interview with Paul Rogers (Free) on my drive back home. The trouble was I was driving away from the transmitter and it was getting fainter and fainter. I couldn't pull over and I drove as slow as I could, then I thought I might get somebody up my rear end (car crash into the rear of my car - come on now guys please lets have a bit of decorum here!!) - in the end all I could hear was static.!!!

I got the Free double DVD today from the local supermarket - half the price of Amazon - classic collectors item for all you Free or Kossoff fans.

What else did I do today ?? Oh yeah I bought a "Fat 8a57ards" belt and cut off the buckle. Next I fitted my dunlop strap locks to it and made it into a strap for my Albert. Why- because when I used to take my old strap off it (the buckle) would sometimes clunk into the front of the body and I was afraid of chipping the paint! Ok so its not adjustable but I know what height I want the guitar - so it's no biggie. Cost - £6 for a leather guitar strap - ex belt !!

Isn't it nice to just have a chat on your favourite forum!!! Ahhhhhh ! ;)

For a company that is back-ordered 6 months, getting a replacement neck in a month is bloody awesome. I would say that's customer service that works;)

I think the ASPCA would not be happy if you did that.

ROTFLMAO.

But l've never had to deal with Ernie Ball customer support, because l live in Australia, l'll never really have any reason to deal with Ernie Ball direct, but from what l've seen from this forum (besides idiots who don't tell the full story), the Ernie Ball staff are a wonderful lot of people, Sterling, Jon, Kevin etc etc etc, and they post here on a regular basis, even though it leaves them open for attack from people who hide behind a forum login.

Cheers guys and girls,

Scott.

Nice one ba2m as long as it's two thumbs and not two fingers then that is ok. :D

Beth what costume services are you contemplating this coming week ?

Spud is taken into a corner and given a lecture on "values" and he comes back to the table severely reprimanded
