I dunno. Looks like he's a dealer with a style of bass that is no longer available for ordering. He might not be as high as you think he is.
Now, I'm not sure he's allowed to list sales prices online, but that's not for me to say...

Yeah, me, too. But, at the same time, Stealth Bongos will be more and more rare. So, it'll sell for that price---eventually.
If it's new with warranty, it's not that far out of line with new prices of 4 string Bongos in an upcharge color to begin with.

I thought so too. The stealth Bongo wasn't an LE. Actually, I'd be perfectly happy if they're not making any more, because I have one.

the stealth started it's life as an LE and grew up into regular production.
that and cosmologically speaking, anything man-made is a limited edition.
