Can you guys in the UK please keep an eye out for this, which I'm posting on behalf of a friend from a UK based guitar forum.

His EBMM Axis Super Sport was stolen on the night of Saturday 21st October from a flat in Lewisham, South East London.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have the serial number, but has this picture of him playing it, which shows off a very unique flamy figured neck, as well as the top.

He also said it has a chip in the headstock, so if you see one in your local Cash Convertors / guitar shop, that's something to keep an eye out for.

Please PM me if you see anything and keep this post afloat, as Ben really loved this guitar and was due to take it on the touring version of Mamma Mia, which he starts in a weeks time.

I'm very sorry for your friend. As we use to say here... "may the thief spend all the money in medicines"

ciao

I'll keep my eyes open down here (SW London/Surrey).

Probably a timely reminder to all of us to make sure serial numbers are logged both personally and on the sticky thread in this forum.

I feel bad for your friend, thats a really nasty thing to happen. Its like
losing a friend when your guitar goes. Hopefully it was insured and hopefully
the bas***d falls off a tower block.

I'll keep 'em peeled up this way for what its worth.

My uncle had that happen to a 1960's (Original) Sea Foam Green "S" (word)... this was in the early 80's and he spent a lot of money and some cheap Fatherless child stole it. Things like that you really can't get back... as goes for the EBMM... Hope the guitar is recovered... and he can take it on the road.

Just a Reminder:
* Keep Serial Numbers
* Check eBay
* Check Pawn Shops / Guitar Stores
* Craigslist (if it's available)
* Check with the local Pubs... and let them know in case someone shows up to play it.
* make a big stink about it... get yer baby back!

I hope the rat bastard that stole that guitar gets what's coming to him. And I really hope this guitar gets tracked down!

Horrible news indeed...

I will keep an eye out in London, SE of England/ Kent. I visit the London shops and further afield often so I've printed a pic and will keep the micers peeled!

At this rate we'll have most of the south covered and the guitar will soon be back in the hands of it's rightful owner!

I'll let the guys in the shop know too.

Leaving them in a room with Koogs for an hour would be too good for those worthless pieces of sh...

Just a quick bump.

Mods:

Is there any way that we could have a sticky for known stolen instruments?

Maybe the info could be e-mailed and then put into the thread (it could be locked to stop it filling up?)

This is probably the best thing to do.

But l'm sorry for your friend bro, that freakin' sucks, man l'd go on a killer spree if one of my EBMM was stolen.

Scott.
