The Gk 1001RBII through the Neo212 is a really good setup, GK thinks so as well

Im personaly not a fan of Ampeg stuff.

As far as GK goes, im looking into getting a 700rb-II with a neo112, kind of a smaller version of the setup you suggested (i dont need that much power).

I'm just wondering where you saw that GK likes this combo as well. And are talking about using this combo with a 5 string or 4 string?

Mesa Boogie Bass 400 and a 2x15 cab. (add a 2nd cab to just show off)

It makes SVT/fridge owners cry running home to momma asking for a new amp. Seriously, I don't know how many SVT guys ask to play though my rig instead.

Not sure exactly what i was refering to back when i posted that, but its probably just because they make a combo in that configuration.
