Serial Numbers : What is the production date of my guitar?

From my friends at Leitz Music , no less! This one was built on 6/28/06. (assuming the number is preceded by a G)

Sorry about the slow response.

There were very few Axis SuperSports made in this color .. in fact I only found one tremolo version (yours) and one non-tremolo version that we ever officially shipped. It seems yours was originally shipped to the Music Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

beachboy, I believe that the "0" should be a "G" in your serial number. If so, this references a Custom Quilt Top Steve Morse Y2D in a D'Purpleburst finish.

Is this your guitar, or were you just curious? Just a note regarding that - this thread is really about guitars that belong to Forum members, not just inquiries.

Lenny, that was what you asked for, wasn't it: I was so excited about how rare it was I forgot. Your SuperSport was completed on 6/2/02 and was shipped to the Music Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The official color name is Stratus Blue Sparkle. Very cool, if short-lived, color.
