Apparently they are leaving at 4am Friday morning. You sure you don't want to cancel your flight and join them Jason? ;)

Um. I'll pass. But, you know, thanks. Their backs might be able to handle the ride, mine will be doing well enough after a plane ride.

Besides--I've got Deadwood Season 2 episodes to catch up on, and video games to play on the flight.

We are. :D

We're taking my mom's car. Her 02 Honda Accord (V6 model :D) is a little more comfortable than my 98 Ford Ranger.

Driving is honestly the only way me and Trav could afford going. We can tough it out. Stopping at Starbucks as soon as possible.

You guys really should consider leaving now. imho

I gotta work tomorrow, but I do get a three day weekend and a paycheck a day early, so no gripes here. :D

Well except for the whole leaving at 4 AM part.

Jason, its funny that its going to take a trip to Dallas for us to meet up for the second time when we live a little over an hour apart.

I am STOKED!!!

Heh. Well, once I find a damn house, I'm going to have the Ernie Ball Forum crew over to my new place in the city.

You guys have fun driving. :D If I didn't have frequent flyer miles, I'd have been SOL, too, so I can appreciate the effort you guys are putting in.

Markbass? I don't need no stinking Markbass! ;)

Actually, some of the more powerful models with the tube pre are pretty attractive. I'm addicted to that tubey sound thanks to the Sunn-it's the perfect complement to the natural tone of the Bongo, for me, anyway.

My next gear purchase will be a GK 212 Neo or one of these:
