Hey, peeps. If you are coming out to the BovineFest 2006 this weekend, don't forget to pack your earplugs. I predict long hours of loudness. I have plans to damage my liver, but I'd like my hearing to come back in one piece, or technically, the three working parts.

So, if you keep your earplugs with your gig gear, don't forget to throw them in with the socks before you begin your sojourn.

This is actually very good advice. Better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

me, too. I try to point this out to my son and his friends.

When they've got it cranked up, my line is "You know how aggravated you get when you say something and I say 'What?' and you have to repeat it? THIS IS WHY! Turn it down!"

Those earplugs are worth it! Wish I'd worn them more....
