Lots of taxis here. Just pick one up at your hotel. They're pretty expensive though.

can i walk from the airport to the hotel? i assume its super close but do you Dallas guys know how close?

Most hotels near the airport have a shuttle service. I'm positive you can get to the Hyatt since it's inside the airport but you'll have to take a shuttle from the terminal. Check the Harvey's website if you're staying there and see if they offer a free shuttle from the airport. I'll bet they do.

I see lots of GCs around the general Dallas area... Which is the best for bass guitar fondling? The closest to the Harvey Suites is GC North Dallas, in Farmers Branch.

According to how many taxi rides you want to take, it very well might be more economical to rent a car. A short ride in a taxi around here can get to $25 pretty quick.

But a compact car rental at the airport will run about $50 per day. Off premises, they only run about $30 per day.
