As a freelance interactive designer, I'd have to say that's gonna be his loss more than yours. Maybe he does what he does for different reasons to me, but the most fullfilling briefs I've worked on are ones for people that I like or for projects that I just think are cool.
Water over guitars? The guys got no mojo.

you'll always get more info and scoop here than the website. It also lets EB put more resources into other areas...
..or not quite so patiently!
Just picture it Rob, a fully functional 'build your guitar' section with all current colours and options available..that you can then rotate and view from any angle!!!
Mind you, it would put Foggy out of a job!
