It may seem like a blatant plug for our band but if you head on over here:
www.myspace.com/loopland
And have a listen to Leave That Girl Alone, this is me and my SR30th's recording debut. You can hear the tone of this beast just pouring thorugh the mix. We've tried to calm it down but love the 'twang' too much!:D :D
(Actually... if you listen to ANY of the songs on our page, they were all recorded with the 30th. It's just that LTGA really shows off the tone!)

I love my 30th, the twang on it is sooooo classic. NO bass can touch it in that regards. Ugh, I wish I hadnt left my amp at my friends place, now Im jonesin to plug in and rip out.

I highly recommend selling a firstborn or something if you hve to to get this bad boy :D :p

I am tempted to buy a second one from the GC near me, to keep as a home bass while I beat the bag out of my current one at practice and future gigs.
