Blue Dawn LE Color For 2007

Hey guys, what's the deal with the LE models? I know they're limited edition, but how long are they available for? I guess what I'm trying to say is: is it possible to order a LE model during any month in 07 or is there a certain period of time in which you have to order them? I'm seriously thinking about getting a JP6 in blue dawn. Thanks for the help.

From what I understand, they are available as long as they have some. They usually just do a small run and what you get is what you get, that's it.

The F-1 is the name given to the latest JP prototype. Its used by BP to distinguish it from the original JP as he has stated that if the F-1 goes into production, the original would be sold along side it if the demand was there... and apparently it is.

I believe they can be ordered through a dealer as soon as they are officially announced.
Orders seem to be taken to coincide with production times during the model year of the run (the DOB). Therefore, depending on the production line, they will stop taking orders when they would be pushed into the next year. As an example, at the current 6 month or so backlog, blue dawn orders would be taken through say June in order to produce the guitar by end of year 2007.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the way it has gone for the past few years.

And people have been SCREAMING for Blue Dawn for a long time!

I think this was a great choice personally.
