CAR is a gorgeous finish.and abalone looks great on anything unless its natty/sunburst.seen in on orange and it looked good,MG,white, etc all looked fine.probably not so hot on metalflake brown though.

Thats just too hott.. Anyway reason I want a new bass is for a sorta dumb reason. Im going to be playing in a christian church band which I have wanted for a long time and the new bass was supposed to sort of be like a new beggining or something.. Plus black looks kinda boreing.

Anyway is there anything I will be missing from my OLD 1989 Stingray? Besides the truss rod location. Oh and the neck will be bolted on with 4 bolts instead of my 3 that I have right now. I doubt any neck will come close to the beauty as the neck on my Old stingray. Its a georgeous dark [I think from time] maple with nice wood grain and I don't know what it is but its diffrent than any other maple.. Maby its birdseye.. maby I would know if I knew what birdseye maple looked like..
