I just heard about this amp. all I know is its crazy light. Any opinions? Concerns? Reason to opt for a mark bass and not an ampeg?

Played all sorts of MarkBass stuff at guitar center and was the house rig at the knucklehead jam. Next to my GK rig, it is the BEEEEEEEEEEEEST rig i've ever heard.

getting a little mark as soon as I got cash in hand. Best little amp I ever heard. Then the 210 traveler when I can afford that.

I have a MarkBass Little Mark II.

Over the past year or so Ive been through dozens (no kidding) of amps trying to find what fit me best.

The MarkBass has blown me away. I really havent looked for a sound that I couldnt get out of the MarkBass.

Run to a Bergantino its pretty amazing.

Yeah I've been looking around for nice amps and I hear markbass coming up everywhere. And I do mean everywhere.

People have been saying that these amps are real versatile and have a real smooth sound to them.

Main difficulty is that they only just recently launched the product line in the United States but Peter Murray from Markbass told me that they are adding 4 new stores every month which is nice.

You know I am an old fart right? You know I don't kid ya much?

Get a Markbass if you can young man. it will make that SR5 sound good.

Heard about and heard will sell you or anyone with an ear on Markbass.

imho

I'll shortly contribute, by saying that one year ago, as I changed my head and cabinet, I had the opportunity to compare the Markbass TA 503 to an ampeg svt III (and other brands : GK, SWR, Warwick...). I really loved the Markbass better : more versatile, more punch (really more), lighter... If you're only looking for the ampeg sound buy one ; but if you want something more get a Markbass.
Even the SD 800 and Little series that have no tubes in the preamp and are less expensive, have a killer tone. And for the cabs, the tone is devilish and my back is always smilling when it's time to carry them.
