hi mate, I think your bongo was the first one I saw. My initial thought was 'hmmmmmmm', which lasted a couple of days, before gaving way to a terrible gas that had to be sated. I'm very lucky to have an understanding and supportive wife, who hasn't put up any obstacles.

Anyway, what am I doing posting here when I could be doing far more constructive things....

I'm in the process of getting rid of all the crap from my equipment list.

At the moment, I have my Bongo, and a Fen**r Aerodyne Jazz (whose fate may be in the balance) going into a Pignose B100V, and a Korg tuner. Everything else is surplus, but i'm looking for a DI and maybe an O/D pedal (possibly the MXR unit to keep the pedal count down)

Addiction?

I stopped by Guitar Center this afternoon and they had a new lava pearl Bongo HH on close out. Had never actually played one, although my stingrays get tons of action. Needless to say, after an hour of test-playing and negotiation, it is now resting on my workbench waiting for me to go do a minor set-up on it.

Me? I'm enjoying my Dargie Delight Bongo 4H. No, it hasn't been built yet. I just enjoy knowing that it's coming. Makes me smile just to think of it. A real sickness, this is.
