i was fortunate enough to goto a steve morse clinic, i met him afterwards and he was such a great down to earth guy.

Man l was pissed that he didn't do one in Melbourne, that would of been the greatest!!! He looks like suck a cool cat, and having seen him play live in Living Loud, man he's playing on his albums doesn't do him any justise, seeing him live is a experience in itself.

Scott.

i went to billy hydes camperdown to enquire about tickets and they are still trying to find a venue, the sales person told me to ring back during the week, the clinic should be on somewhere in Leichhardt.

Well... we have Billy Hydes salesperson vs Music Man representative... :)

yeah i guess so, earlier this year i was asking about the steve morse clinic and no one could help me out with info. ;)

apparently they had to contact john through mesa or something, anyway if jp has canceled sydney i'll stick with the satch clinic seeing that hes my favourite axe man.

I think JP does a good balance between answering questions, playing songs, explaining musical concepts and techniques he uses, telling you about the equipment he's demonstrating, answering questions to which the answers are well-documented on DT sites or his site. At the clinic I went to it was Mesa/Boogie sponsored. So, he spent a good amount of time telling us about the Road King and how he uses it. That amp confused me before. Now, it makes perfect sense. Also, he's really cool about signing autographs, meeting the fans, etc. When I saw his clinic, he was up at 4am that morning, I guess, for travel purposes. Then, at almost midnight he was still there making sure that everyone who wanted to meet him got a chance to meet him, got a chance to have something signed, got a picture with him, whatever.

When he explained the Road King did he mention whether or not he uses the Tube Recto on leads and the Diode recto on Rhythms or not?
