I must be lucky, but so far I have not had any problems with UPS shipping domestically in the US and internationally too.

These stories always make me cringe. I prefer UPS though. We get lots of stuff delivered to us via UPS and haven't had any trouble yet.

I ship and receive a lot of stuff through UPS and have had almost no trouble. They are a bit slow if you ever have to file a claim, though.

They ship a bazillion things a day, and I guess a few fall through the cracks. Still way better than the post office. Don't get me started on them...

a ups rep called me per my request this morning. The rep was super cool... i mean its not her fault right? she said shed call the driver and tell em to get it to me by 2.

as annoying as this is, its not the worst thing ever. id rather have it show up a bit late w/o damage than on time with a big dent in the box.

im sure it will be fine. plus this way i get a reason to be excited about a monday

To chime in on the UPS thing: IIRC, I've only had one package out of many from UPS delivered late. Also, Fedex always seems to ship a day earlier than they say on their tracking system, too. Guess I'm just a lucky so-and-so.

so that was that - got my luke now

i didnt order it. in dallas my GAS for a Luke model kicked in full effect and it just so happened that Pete was 3 ft away. i said "hey pete - i want a Luke" and he said "ive got 2 coming in next week".

so it just so happened Pete had a couple coming in for stock and i snagged one.

Yeah, i'm really hating UPS at the moment.They had my SR4HH OFD all day yesterday and then all of the sudden it was back at the HUB where it had just arrived the night before with another orgin scan.Turns out they screwed up and put it on a truck for Jacksonville, FL!:eek Supposedly they caught it and are re-routing it back to CA.Should be here Monday the 27th(Only 5 days late )but i'm not holding my breath........
