Are the Bongo pickups tappable? I mean can i put a coil tap for each one? I know each individual pcikup runs in parallel(I think) but it would be pretty cool to be able to make each one a single coil and have like a jazz sound, or run each one in series for kicks.

Any thoughts if it can be done

Sure it can. Remove a pick up and look on the underside, you'll see what to do. It'll void warranty though...

I am guessing it could be done. I would not personally do that...but that is me. I would research it first with a professional luthier, just to make sure you know exactly what it would entail. Just to check is free....but still, I would not do it.
