I really do. Its just so amazing!!! I just can't help but wanna tell everyone to run out and get tehir hands on one ASAP.

And what the hell am I talking about? The HS Sterling of course.

Now, im serious. Im not Travis with a new amp here :p (sorry bro i had to). I just played a gig with the HS Sterling and man it was killing. As many know ive been in love with the Sterlings since I first got one back in the day and when i heard about the 2 PUP ones, well - somehow I knew I wanted an HS. No real logic went into that decision but somehow it was the right choice for me. Ive got (at least one of each) and the HS is the one in the bunch that suits me best. YMMV. Honestly for a while there the HH Ray was giving her a run for her money - but now its pretty final... the HS is definatley my fav (HH Ray gets #2)

Anywho... i just got home from a gig with it and just had to share how happy i am.

So here's my HS Sterling, aka Kristen:

ps: medallion gold looks pretty sweet with a black pg huh? ive got a tort on for her too, so i gotta try that out and see which i like better.

Indeed! I've been meaning to order a black pickguard for my medallion gold Bongo. That looks great!

Tort with mg would be interesting. I'd love to see a pic of that, too.

The first dual pickup non-Bongo MM I played was a Sterling SH. It was amazing. Not quite, you know, Bongo amazing--but, pretty damn close.

Have you been practicing that right hand slapping technique? :D

I've got a digital video camera. Let me see if I can whip something up I'm happy with. No promises--this is a first foray into video....

What right hand technique would that be? I'm always up for learning something new....

That bass looks smokin Arin.

DIG the black guard on that.

I am an amp whore, but the Little mark II may have me tamed.

Week to week, I change my mind on what bass rules at Camp Bovine.

Do you do that, Arin?

I mean, neither of us is Travis, which is GOOD.

I can see that one being The King around your house, though. Very pretty instrument.

not really. The hh ray really gave the hs sterling a run for its money but the solution was simple... the white perloid guard had to go. it was too bling bling so i wouldnt pick it up ALL the time cuz it was too bright colored.

as far as playability and tone its badass. i havent played anything else for a month

Well, I'm not Arin, but I do exactly the same thing. The original HHp is currently reasserting dominance over the young upstart 4H. Who knows what will happen when the Dargie shows up with the extra muscle of a B string, though...

Favorite Bongo of the week--It's a wonderful problem to have. :D

And, I just spent a month playing Travis. I traded a great custom bass for $$$ and the natural SR4. Then, I traded that for Ray's medallion gold Bongo 4H a couple of weeks later. I almost pulled something with that trading frenzy. Now that it's been converted to Bongo, though, it's not going anywhere....

I think i might order myself up a black guard for the fretless. Been thinking about going the bumblebee direction for awhile now. Plus it will match my Markbass head :D
