Where can I get that do you think? I've spent two nights on the dealer search thingie entering postal/zip codes for all over North America, basically searching all the major city hall addresses and pasting the zip codes into said dealer search thingie. How's them apples?

P.S. the big online chains (MF, GC etc.) don't ship in this direction.

That's actually not true. Some places aren't bound by dealer licencing agreements...Bass Central for one, and I'm pretty sure there are more.

Actually, it is true. Bass Central is only supposed to sell used basses outside the US.

You won't find any US dealers who are allowed to send new instruments across the border.

I ordered a new Fender '62 Jazz last year from a place in California and the dealer made no mention of it. Unless you mean this policy is strictly for Ernie Ball instruments...

I am speaking strictly of Ernie Ball/Musicman instruments. They are the ones, after all, who would have a dealer agreement in place with dealers of Musicman basses. :D

Any USA based EBMM dealer who has a current agreement with EB is prohibited from selling strings/accessories and new instruments internationally. This allows the international chain of distribution to operate properly, along with warranty & customer service.

Yeah...but wouldn't the world be so much nicer if lawyers weren't involved though?

doesn't have anything to do with lawyers. Has to do with businesses trying to conduct business in a manner they feel is proper.
