hopefully nothing too upsetting for those that like their MMs to stay as stock as possible

I've added a ramp to the scratchplate/pickguard of my Bongo to rein in some of my over playing live

I'll make a better one once I've decided on a final size and shape, but for now it's a radiussed piece of MDF with an off-cut of material glued to the top and held on with double sided sticky tape.

No major (or minor) wear on it at all, so it must be a trick of the light - even the tip of the headstock is still unmarked

The back of the neck is well polished now though

this is true, it's my only gigging bass these days - I don't go out of my way to protect it, but I don't mistreat it either

I'm sure it will wear in the years to come but I don't have a problem with that, it's job is to make some great noises, not to be put in a glass case..
