hopefully nothing too upsetting for those that like their MMs to stay as stock as possible ;)

I've added a ramp to the scratchplate/pickguard of my Bongo to rein in some of my over playing live :D

I'll make a better one once I've decided on a final size and shape, but for now it's a radiussed piece of MDF with an off-cut of material glued to the top and held on with double sided sticky tape.

Is it just the light in the photo or have you put some serious wear on that bass?

No major (or minor) wear on it at all, so it must be a trick of the light - even the tip of the headstock is still unmarked :eek:

The back of the neck is well polished now though ;)

that baby is a workhorse,......not a trailer queen

this is true, it's my only gigging bass these days - I don't go out of my way to protect it, but I don't mistreat it either ;)

I'm sure it will wear in the years to come but I don't have a problem with that, it's job is to make some great noises, not to be put in a glass case..
