New SR5 owner & just ordered another!

I have had my SR5 HH for about 2 weeks now. I can't stop playing it! Last night was my first band practice with it. The band was so impressed with the tone! They kept complimenting it! They said it really cut through and sounded mean as hell! They have never said anything like that whenever I played my J basses. The bass's knobs were all in the middle except for a very slight boost in treble because the room was boomy. I was using my favorite: position 3 on it! My drummer, who has an '05 SR4, picked up my bass and said "holy sh*t, this thing is much lighter then my 4 string!" It really feels light. Maybe in the 9 lb range if that's possible. I only have a cheesy dial bathroom scale to verify that for now.

Anyway... IN JUST 2 WEEKS OF OWNING MY SR5, I AM SO IMPRESSED, I ORDERED ANOTHER ONE TODAY!!! I actually ordered an SR5 HS Pacific Blue Burst, Maple Board, Matching Headstock. It may be a tough battle for the #1 spot when the new one arrives!!!

First show with the new SR5 is this Saturday!!! Can't wait to be heard!!!

Thanks Ken! Look what you started!!! Now if you would have spoke louder about the SR5's months ago... Just kidding!!! You tried! I was just a stubborn J-bass player.

Very cool news! That's still an awesome rig you have there, and it looks so much better without you know what sitting in front of it.
I'm really wanting a new Stingray HH, but can't quite do it right now... New bass or new semester at school... It's a tough call.

What difference did you notice between the SR5 HH and SR5 HS? I am very happy to hear that you played both and are obviously pleased with both.

I am really looking forward to getting my new SR5 HS in mid/late January, but the SR5 HH is perfect for now! Position 3 just kicks a$$!

YEA!!! I've been trying to find a picture of that combo I ordered! Pacific Blue Burst with the Black guard, on an SR5 (HH or HS), with a Maple board! Thank you. That is outstanding! Very sharp! I actually feel even better now!
