I had an ESP Kamikaze. It really was a kick-ass guitar, and I'm sorry I got rid of it. The maple body gave it a really different sound.

I put them on my list in the "Guilty Pleasures" thread in the General Music Discussion forum.

I've always loved Lynch's playing and that type of music - I discovered Rock/metal in the early 1980's.

Lynch was a hero of mine and had a unique tone on those Dokken albums, one note and you knew it was him.

Lynch Mob saw him end up sounding just like everyone else - great shame.

I've always liked GL. Dokken or Lych Mob. Put it on and I'd be air-guitarin' for sure. One of my favorites. I'm stuck in the '80' and early '90's

I've seen him perform many times in the 80's. Then, a few years ago at a clinic and I thought his playing had really declined.

He has a new signature amp coming out at NAMM '07 by Randall. Built on the MTS Series, it features switchable pre-amp modules. Also, a new ESP V type guitar. See the Feb. '07 Guitar World for details.
