Wow even I like that and I don't even play fivers! :D I love how similar it looks to the 20th Silo, which isn't surprising bearing in mind body shape etc, but well done guys.

That's gorgeous!

But I'll still wait for the 14-and-abit-year anniv Sterling ;)

An excellent addition to the Anniversary collection.

Beautiful to look at, (I'm sure) incredible to hold and I know the sound will be bumped up a few notches.

This is really a stunning instrument - I just can't wait to get my hands on one.

Well done gents!!

Wow, that's a really nice bass! I think I'll want to try and get myself one of those!

Upon closer inspection of the pictures, I must say I'm with Andrew: The strap buttons look different, like over size strap locks or sumpin':)

Great looking 20th. I like the clean lines. The burst color is great...is that the only color they'll be? Can't wait to try the tone block.

Just got into work. Was feeling tired, fired up my computer, thought "I know, I'll check my favourite forum for new threads" and I find this thing has appeared overnight. Well, it really perked me up. Looks like by the end of 2007 I will own 2 or 3 5 string basses(depending on how many Bongos I buy in the New Year). It looks great.

Man, oh man oh man....

I'm just in my first coffee-break at work, and decided I'd check the board.... Opened this thread and skipped a few heartbeats...

I've been wandering for so long how this thing would look, but never ever in my wildest imagination did I come up with something this beautifull. Congrats to everybody at EBMM, this thing is just drop dead gorgous and absolutely stunning! I'm still not over the shock :D

Now I'm even GAS-sing more for one. Hope we'll get order/price info soon. Will it be possible to get one with a maple board?

Oh man, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one,... well, you get the picture!

How do you photograph it to look like it is floating in space? Is it photoshopped or just on a matt white background which does not reflect light back?

Jeez...that is a great looking bass. It is so cool of you to show us these tortue pics and what you guys/gals are doing out there! It is stunning for sure.

it is very sleek looking....fast looking but with a sense of slowing you down just long enough to gawk it. Awesome...simply Awesome.

Hindsight is always 20/20....

If you look at how the 20th Silhouette was different from the stock Silhouette, the new design of the 20th SR5 becomes forehead-slap obvious. After all, the SR5 took its design cues from the Silhouette in the first place, right? So it makes perfect sense that the 20th SR5 would take its design cues from the 20th Silhouette.

Lovely piece of work...bravo!

Me, I kind of like the sculpting and the pickguard shape of the regular SR5, but that's just personal preference. This is one helluva nice bass. Several knuckleheads will be happier, poorer, and in more hot water with the spouse as a result of this.

BTW, I think the strap buttons are the same ones that come on the Bongo. Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it.

PS: tkarter: Since you're not going to have need of that Bongo, I'll be glad to put it to good use for ya. Just send it along, 'kay? :D
