Wouldn't it be nice to have a listing of all stock going out the door each week to peruse and if something catches your eye you'd be able to contact that particular dealer for a sale? Even if its already gone/special orderd for someone, then you've only wasted an email or a phone call.

A four or five month build time probably kills a lot of G.A.S. but if something was immediately available...hmmm...

People might be more likely to buy new rather than used if they had a world of guitars to choose from.

Maybe a service where you could contact EB and say "hey-this is what I'm kind of looking for...has anything shipped recently or in process?

I know there are a few great dealers who frquent the forums but if they don't have what you need, where else do you go?

I'm sure there are a thousand reasons why this is a bad idea and I'm sure I'll be told why.

thx...

it si a good idea but Most of the guitars and bassees are presold and we would be over doubling our staft to advise people where the axes are going. WE tried to help with the instrument locator on the web page and a few dealers actually use it as a tool and find buyers for guitars htat arent presold

Since the website is being upgraded, is there a chance that the find it service of the instrument builder section, or whatever the revised version of that feature may be, include access the instrument or dealer without needing a zip code.

When I found my Envy Silo I was looking for the specific instrument, regardless of the location. But the locator requires a zip code and therefore can only search a limited database. I eventually went through Dan (you know that famous guy in customer service ;) ) and he was great in helping me find it out in New Mexico. He's also helped me find another gem that I'm considering.

But prior to that, I would just plug in some random zip codes around metro areas and start looking at inventory.

By reading this another idea comes to my mind.

Why don´t you take real-life pics of each color and put them on the official EBMM website? That would be great, because then you can really see what you get.
To my eyes the currentcolor-chart does not show how aweseome some colors are.

What do you think Poppa?

BP, do you have any idea when the new MM website will be up, it's been quite a while and I understand that you guys are wicked busy, just very curious that's all.

Thanx for the inputs.
