Problem with forum... Am I the only one?

Ummm... the "new" button next to the topic title always sends me to the first post of the topic, no matter if I have already seen it or not.

I also noticed this permalink thing...

Does this happen to anyone else?

the permalink text is new. however it takes you to the same place that the link next to it goes and that's been there forever.

as far as the new button... i dont have that problem.

codemonkey is the dude (or one of em that i know of) that does the forum upgrades, changes etc and he's uses to see if any of us have any problems etc

Yeah, but it's not very practical to search for the first post you haven't read. The "read first new post" feature is really amazing.
