MusicMan Stingray HS Noise Problem... Help Needed!

Hello!

First of all, I wanted to say hi to you all as I have just joined this forum and it's the fisrt time I'm posting here.

I recently bought a MusicMan Stingray HS (Double+ Single Humbuckers) and I'm experiencing some problems:
The thing is that I'm getting some noise when using the neck pickup, it only happens when I use the neck pickup soloed or any other combination involving this pickup.
I'm getting this "Hssssss" noise that gets worst when I rest my thumb on the neck pickup: if I rest on the bridge pickup is not as bad as when I'm resting on the neck one but it really messes everything up.

The only position it does not make any noise is when playing the bridge humbucker in any of the two positions but as soon as I switch to any other involving the neck pickup there you have it!!!

I hope you understand what I mean, english is not my first language and not sure if I have explained myself well enough.

Has any of you experience this problem or has any idea about it?

hye man welcoem to the forum.

as the guys said, customer service will be your best source for info here. its the holiday's here so you may have to wait a bit before they cruise back to work. but once they do they will hook you up.

have you tried talking to your dealer or Strings and Things (the UK distributor). they should also be able to give you a hand.
