Well I need to thank SilverBurst (aka Rex), I was interested in the Midnight blue Sterling and one thing led to another and Rex and I seem to have made a trade.

This is my first bass and I really must say that I love it. MBGreene once said to me at PeteDubaldo's store that he thought that the Sterling was the guitarists bass, from a neck prespective and I have to agree with him.

Here are a few shots of the bass from the store that Rex bought it from.

Thanx man, I'm not even a bass player, but I was messing with it last night and it's sweet!!!

Again, Rex was awesome about the whole thing and a stand up guy from where I stand. ;)

Be careful, it may wind up being hers instead of yours;)

Midopa and Phatty, thanx guys. I was digging it last night, I just had it plugged into my Korg Pandora and it sounded pretty cool.

Phatty are you getting a DD?

ya know dude, i missed out on the whole DD thing. Main reason being that I have at least one of each Sterling variety (and 2 H's) and couldn't really justify having another "its the same as the other one but w/ a different color" bass.

s'all good. ill just wait till a BFR or Anniv. Sterling is announced.

Will people stop posting pics of all the sparkle basses? You guys are just killing me!!!

Any money I get at the moment is either going to go into our house buying fund, Trev's Albert Lee fund or my kitten fund - I have no money for gear!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

But seriously Glenn, congrats - she is gorgeous!

Nice snag Glenn  What did you have to give up in exchange?

I do like the necks on the Sterlings, and I know the whereabouts of an NOS Envy Green that has always tempted me. But it's a big nut for a non-bass player, considering I do own a (**non-EBMM**) bass for fooling around and would have to move it before taking the plunge. Can't really justify the expense.

So if anyone else here wants a (**non-EBMM**) bass for purposes known only to them, let me know.

Perhaps Ibanez2005 (hint hint;))

Mike, I parted ways with the Silver Sparkle Axis Sport, Rex was very interested in it. It was a tough call I really love that guitar too, but maybe someday I'll pickup another one. You were the first to ask what was traded. :)

Sell the beater bass man and get the Sterling, are we talking about the Sterling I'm thinking of?

It's the same Sterling we've discussed. Last I checked just before Christmas the shop still had it. But since I sold the Rosewood, there's an AL I'm waiting for pics of that will be next if it looks good. My bass isn't really a beater, its actually got some quality components. But I'm still not an e-bay guy (and I know how everyone loves zero feedback ;) ) and here's not the place to sell it.

Next question though, since your wife is the official owner of the Black / Red CLB Axis will you trade your Sterling for her Axis?? And how tough is she to negotiate with?? :D

Mike, Try selling it over on The Gear Forum, that place is pretty cool and the people over there are pretty nice.

As for my wifes Axis, I'm not aloud to touch it, she got very upset (aka bent) when I opened the case the day that it came. As for trading the sterling for it, I think I'll hang on to the Sterling, I like my wifes ASS, hahahahaha, but it's got a Floyd and I'm not a trem guy.

The silver sparkle was waiting for me when I got home. Gorgeous. I might need to put on some eyeliner and caper about the house with it...

Rex, hahahahahahaha, yah it's an awesome guitar man, enjoy it.

Like I said if you ever want to part with it, I'd like first shot.

The Sterling is great, thanx again for the trade, it was a great thing for you to do.
