Al you got the names of almost all of them off except the Luke Blue man.

The Red Luke is Pearl Red, it's discontinued.

Great entrance for Al, and great setup by Poppa. I entered the thread prepared to mention an accountant who I know...

By the way, are there any IRS agents on this forum??...:>))

Thanks again, Brentrock, for the welcome...it already rocks to be here!!
I'm not actually one (but I have worked for HMRC for 30 years) and I train them, think of it like I teach them how to get blood out of stone ! - in the UK !! ;)

Hi Glenn (and everyone else kind enough to respond to this thread),

Thank you so much for the "name corrections" on these guitars..!! Remember, I'm an idiot friggin' accountant...what the hell do I know about color charts?..:>))) I'm laughing so hard because only on an E.B./M.M. forum would the members be so sweet about letting me know the exact color names and production runs of these guitars...!!!...:>) You can make sure I'll be correcting all of these color names today on my website. Man, I friggin' love you guys!!! I didn't think anyone cared about these exquisite guitars as much as I do...boy was I wrong; I gotta tell you I feel so at home here and part of the "EB family"...:>))

I have cool story to tell everyone here. About two years ago NAMM hosted a "breakfast session" (the same kind that Sterling was a panelist on), but this one took place on Sunday morning, the last day of the show. NAMM, knowing very few people will show up for any 8:00 a.m. session on Sunday morning, came up with this cool idea called "Best in Show". Basically, six independent panelists (non-manufacturers) would pick five (5) of their favorite products they saw at the show the prior three days, which would give the people attending the B.I.S. program a "heads up" of products not to miss on their last day of the show. The program was a hit with almost a 1,000 people showing up (partly because of the free breakfast they served..:>) and it's been repeated for the last 3 shows.

As luck would have it, last year I was asked to join the B.I.S. panel; here was my chance to go "on the record" about the EB/MM guitar products. At this past Summer NAMM show in Austin, TX, instead of picking just one guitar I voted the whole line of EB/MM guitars "Best in Show." As it's turned out, the "Best in Show" designation has turned into quite an honorable and notable award in the industry..all of the suppliers are trying to figure out how they get considered for this award. Music Inc. (trade magazine) did an entire "spread" on the winners, and someone actually videotaped the whole summer B.I.S. program and sent me a videotaped copy. I took the footage and created a 15-minute movie of just me and my picks (the other panelists don't really count, do they??..:>). I'm in the process of gettin it up on our firm's website web (although the file rather large, so I'm trying to compress it somehow). Once I do, I'll let everyone know so they can see the rightful accolades I gave this great company...after all, the world needs to know...:>)

Anyway, "THANKS" again everyone for all of welcomes and thoughtful corrections to my misposted colors.:>) They will not go unappreciated...:>)

Love ya all,
Alan

Alan, always great to have a EBMM lover join and find a new home away from home.

No problem with the color, if it helps glad to have helps.

Pretty cool story can't wait to see the video.
