I just wanted to know if anyone could explain what a Dargie Delight is. I mean, I know its a limited edition bass coming out very soon, but...

1. Who or what is a Dargie Delight?
2. What does the DD have to do with a Cocktail mixed drink with an olive?

Dargie is Dargin .... aka Scott Ball. I beleive Dargin is his middle name.

Long story short
Dargin likes Martinis
So did Sterling b4 he quit drinking
And Jack (bovinehost on the forum) still likes them
i think Dargin makes a drink called the Dargie Delight
i think Sterling says that Dargie ripped him off and its really his concoction
Dargin has a green Bongo. The official color was martini olove green.
Jack wanted one
many wanted one
Sterling said green basses dont sell so they wont make em in production
Eventually Sterling thought he'd be nice and there was a 1 week order window to get an EBMM instrument in MOG (martini olve green)... that's the Dargie Delight

and just to make the instruments cooler than just a new paintjob some cool things were added like the martini glass inlays

The Dargie Delight is a limited edition run of martini olive green basses (shown at NAMM 06). Mainly advertised on this particular forum but some larger retail music stores ordered a few. (Bass Central being one). What exactly is Dargie? Dargie is Dargin of EB (aka Scott Ball). What does the martini have to do with it? Well, since the color is martini olive green, there will be martini glass inlays.

Dargin did steal the dargie delight recipe...I was so upset I quit drinking altogether

ok maybe not but it makes good drama

By the way Im not drinking now but may someday...there is no schedule I just took some time off. Its been four and a half months and I really enjoy not drinking.

I wonder why '' green '' basses do not sell very well. Does that go for Teal and Trans Teal as well? I hope they dont stop making Trans Teal, I gotta order one of those next week when I'm off work

I MUST have a Trans Teal StingRay, after making all that fuss of trying to figure out what color bass the bassist from Matchbox 20 was using, Beth got involved, Derek, and the Mods, and you yourself wrote and told me it was Trans Teal, and now you've made your last one????
