i started playing in a second band and have needed a new "small rig". So obviously that means ive been GASing for a Little Mark II... just ask Stanky, Randy and Travis :)

Anywho... just saw one for sale on another forum and, woot, its mine.

So, im pretty stoked about this. im not about to carry my Victim Nation rig around (Aguilar GS 4x10 @ 100 lbs w/ GK 1001) and my combo just didnt cut it and it sucked not having it at home.

This other band is not my typical cup of tea. Its "normal" rock. Mostly orginials but we do a Little Wing cover.. maybe that gives a hint of the type of music it is... its definately not punk. It gives me a chance to play finger style which is cool and to play more groove like stuff so its fun. the singer/guitarist is also an MM fan (uses and Axis and 20th silo)... he's my ceo and goes by fuzzfunk on this board.

I'm thinking im gonna pair up the little mark II with an avatar 2x12 NEO. Ive heard great things about the avatar neos and have had a 4x10 and 2x10 of theirs back a few years ago. should be pretty budget, light, loud and quality.

my first Little mark experience was in Dallas when a bunch fo us went to GC before the Cowpilot/Biff Baby's show. i played a bunch of their stuff at the SF GC last week and was sold on the spot (no little mark in stock tho) so im very amped that i score a barely used one :)

woo hoo.

Congrats Arin! When you get tired of it, DIBS! :)

We tried the LMII + Neo 212 combo. Very nice if I do say so myself. Although, I think Bergantino cabs are the ones for the LMII.

I haven't seen or heard the Markbass 4-10 cabs yet....given what I can get out of that 2-10 and 1-15, I bet they sound good.

Anyone have one yet?

Did you score Paul's?

I could easily see it replace that GK as part of that "big rig".

yup. Randy called me a couple days ago and said I missed another one on TB so i checked again last night and saw Pauls.

I wouldn't be surprised if it replaced the GK but i dont want it to. if that were the case then id have to go out and buy another one for the lil rig.

You know Arin, soon all this stuff is gonna get to be too much for us ladies to carry... we may just have to kill you, dispose of the body and then move into your house :D

Seriously tho, great score - am very jealous!

Great picture. I've heard about the Mark amps, but nothing about the cabs. Anyone play the whole rig yet? My B-day isn't coming up.... but Easter is! FWIW, I have Eden 410 and 115 xlt and Trace 410 and 210 cabs.

I always want new gear, though.

I play through this...

And it certainly is a joy to fiddle with!
The SR30th sounds AMAZING through it. Cabs are nice and responsive, lightweight and fit nicely in the boot of the car. The only negative is that the protective corners ar moulded in such a way that the rig does not stack easily. The top cab is always slightly off centre.

Played a 4x10 in Nashville. The sound was every bit as good as my Eden 4x10 XLT and half the weight. As soon as guitar center has another sale, I am dumping my Eden and picking up a Mark Bass 4x10 as well as a Little Mark II. A shame really, the Eden is in great condition, but just too cumbersome for the sound I am getting out of it.

I wish the old Eden speakers were still being put in the cabinets. I have an old 2x10 Eden that sounds way better than the newer cabinets. You can look at the speakers and see that they are different materials.
