If it was maple only, that might open the door for a Morse / JP with a maple neck. Or it could be a sticker, not an inlay, and that would make it a true "teaser". Nice.

Is it just me, or does the dot inlay look larger than usual as well?
If this opens the door for a maple neck Petrucci, I won't be getting the F1 - that's for sure!

I've liked the blue dawn pics I've seen before, and a maple fretboard on a blue dawn JP7... Heck, I've been eyeing the new Schecter Jeff Loomis sig largely for the maple board (also because the C7 Blackjack I just picked up kills), but honestly for what I play a Petrucci would be a better match, and would let me get my maple fix...

It looks like a computer generated one.
the 2007LE looks good for the 12th fret, how about something for the 3rd 5th 9th etc frets, like a 07, or LE instead of the dots. But that might be over doing it.
