My Bro has my Purple Ray these days.....lovely colour

Sorry you will have to scroll through the pics to find the shots of the purple ray.....rosewood neck and white pearl pg. I had her for a few years before buying the creammachine and he needed a decent bass......

currently gigging in Manchester and supporting Pure essence soon.

I frankly do not know what the official color of my 5 string is. I have never seen another like it though. I think I ordered it in 2001. Does anyone know what purple metal flake was offered then? The flake is not really large, a small flake like the metallic white color.

Ooooh nice bass! Tiff you may be on to something there ;) Though I do quite like the look of Peanut, so Arin may have to remain on the list :D

We all need to send Tiff good-job-vibes so she can earn some moolah and not have to leave us!

I'm proud to say that I've not been back into Norfolk since my evil orthodontist in Kings Lynn removed my brace - has to be a good 6 years now at least! Am in no hurry to go back...

Besides, you said your brother was in Manc land :D

So nobody knows how rare the purple MM basses are:confused:
Do you mean Trans Purple or Pearl Purple Spencer?
I like purple also so I like to know this question rather than something else;)

When you ask about a particular finish, you're probably only going to get anecdotal evidence.

For instance, I sort of think purple is relatively rare because I hardly ever see them for sale - but maybe all that means is that the people who bought them don't want to sell them. Or, okay, maybe not that many people bought them.

Who knows?

I had one and thought it was cool but never thought of it as particularly collectable.
