Yeah, there's one in this thread already, as a matter of fact, I think it's the first thing on page 4. Hope it helps!Do you have a pic of it in the black burst?
Cheers, I have no idea how i missed that!!Yeah, there's one in this thread already, as a matter of fact, I think it's the first thing on page 4. Hope it helps!
I dont find the JP quilt and Flame tops that impressive.
For the price EB will charge for these limited models, I would expect a flame or quilt that would be AAAA.
Ernie Ball makes a fabulous product and when the Mystic Dream Color and some of the other colors came out it was a step forward in regards to the visual of Ernie Ball guitars.
But there is nothing special about these. They have the standard fade to black paint on the sides that look cheesey, and I would have expected more textured tops.
The Black Quilt is very blasey, and the flames are nothing to be envious of.
I agree with you about the flames; but the quilted JP7 in Walnut Burst still looks fantastic to me. Plus you have to see it in person before making the final judgment. I can understand what you are saying though. Something like these tops would look absolutely superb on the BFR's.

I still think EB is doing great job, and they can only get better and add more as time goes on.
Another cool feature is push/pull that activates all four coils.
