Hey everyone!
I created this thread as you might have guessed to introduce myself, so here it goes *aheem*

My name is Germán Gallardo, I'm 20 years old (almost 21!) and I love music and playing guitar, I've been into music for a while now, since I was 13 . I'm a big fan of several musicians including: Steve Lukather, John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Peter Gabriel, David Gilmour, Brian Wilson and some others. :D

I recently ordered my first EB guitar, a fully loaded JP 7 string in Desert Gold, it should be arriving at the end of the month, I was lucky that the dealer I got in touch with had one on order in the final stage of production. I havent received it and I'm already drooling about a 20th anniversary Silo, and that BFR Luke and Ruby Red JP! I guess I got G.A.S. and honestly who doesnt with these guitars? :)

Well, that's it folks, Im liking this place a LOT. Also if you want to introduce yourself or give me some n00b pointers feel free to do so.

See ya around.

Welcome!

I've got a noob pointer for you. As soon as your guitar arrives, you take pictures of it even before you take it out of the case. Then, you take it out of the case, and photograph it like you've taken it to glamour shots. Then, you immediately post those photos in a new thread announcing your new guitars arrival. Then, and only then, you may take the guitar and plug it in to see how it plays and sounds. :)

Oh, and the wait will just about kill you.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I guess my english is a little rough, you noticed I'm not from the US :p

Im from Monterrey Mexico (near to Texas actually), half of my family is american the other half is Mexican.
Since I'm in my own n00b thread, I'll ask something. What's up with the BFR are these limited editions? I wish I had the cash to afford that Luke or the JPM in Ruby Red!

Also let me say I'm not totally out of the loop, those DD look amazing I wish I was around here to order one as well! Congrats to all who are getting one.

Really? How do you know this? Are you experienced in buying and selling vital organs on the black market? :p Just kidding.

Welcome, German. Don't forget to post pictures of your guitar. :D

Check the forum frequently. That's how you'll know about new guitars and basses and big parties like the one we recently had for bovinehost's birthday and the Open House a couple of years ago.
